About Larry

Focus. Lead. Disrupt.

Larry Braitman Early-Stage Investor

My Story

Since 1997, I’ve had an eye for early-stage companies on the cusp of breakout success. With my hands-on investing approach, I bring the discipline, care, and foresight it takes to accelerate growth.

I co-founded Flycast Communications, an early internet advertising startup that sold in 2000 for $2.2B. I then co-founded Adify which sold in 2008 for $350M. As an initial investor in Flixster, now part of Fandango, I helped close an $80M deal with Warner Brothers in 2011.

I’ve served companies as EVP of Business Development and as Chairman of the Board. More often, I advise with a light touch to propel startups striving to become the next “first-ever.”

Please don’t call me an angel investor. This isn’t a hobby; I’m not gambling. I recognize raw potential and have a knack for turning modest niches into mass markets.

I practiced business law as a partner in Philadelphia after graduating cum laude from Georgetown University Law. I did my undergrad at Franklin & Marshall College where I now serve on the Board of Trustees. As a frequent speaker at trade events, I remain ever-engaged with evolving sectors.
